Three actions.
One shared moment.
Markahead is a tactical duel for iPhone. You and your rival each plan three moves in secret, then reveal them at the same time. Read your rival, claim the beacons and reach five points first.
Coming soon to the App Store for iPhone
Example round at match point, you leading 4 to 3. You start on B4 and plan move east, dash east, shield. Your rival, on the beacon at D4, had already locked in shove west, move east, shove west. On reveal the first shove pushes you back to B4, your dash follows your rival off the beacon onto D4, and your shield blocks the second shove. You finish on the beacon, score your fifth point and win.

Plan three actions on the board, then lock them in. Both rivals reveal together. A shield blocks a shove, a shove pushes a rival away, and a dash reaches a gold beacon. Finish the round on a beacon to score. The fifth point brings up “Signal secured”. The preview also shows the online duel menu and account screen, then closes with Markahead: offline practice and online duels. Music and game sounds play throughout; there is no spoken dialogue.
How a duel works
Plan in secret
Queue exactly three actions. Your rival does the same, and neither of you can see the other’s program. The practice bot locks its program before you start and never reads yours.
Reveal together
Both programs play out side by side: both first actions, then both second, then both third. Movement comes before shoves. Head for the same tile, or try to swap places head-on, and you both stop.
Finish on a beacon
End the round on a gold beacon to score a point. Passing over one doesn’t count. Claimed beacons move to a new empty tile. First to five wins. Reach five together and it’s a draw.
Four actions to choose from
Move
One tile up, down, left or right. No diagonals.
Dash
Up to two tiles in a straight line. A wall or your rival stops it early.
Shield
Hold your tile and block any shove, for that action only.
Shove
Stay put and aim at an adjacent tile. If your rival ends up there, push them one tile farther. A shield or the board edge blocks it, and two opposing shoves cancel.
Practice alone. Duel for real.
Offline practice
Play the bot whenever you like, with no account and no connection. Your duel saves after every change, so you can pick up where you left off.
